Welcome to Ice's Zelda Central!
I could go on like this all day. Welcome back to Ice's Zelda Central, truly a sight for sore eyes. Call us crazy, but after 12 years we're still here, playing the games we love. Talking obsessing, writing. Jump in with both feet and join us ... you know you want to! Your presence here is appreciated. And don't tell anyone that I don't like Twilight Princess.
Updates and Downdates
February 8th, 2010
Updated the Ocarina of Time page ... congrats to the Saints and their fans.
February 5th, 2010
Added Ocarina of Time to the Games section ... there's still a lot to fill out, but it's a start!
February 4th, 2010
Still adding to the infrastructure of the site ... added the Story and Legend section today. It's one of my favorites, and provides a narrower band of Zelda obsession than the Library or Fan & Features page does. There's some interesting stuff in there, so check it out.
February 3rd, 2010
The Games section is on its way back in. To begin with, IZC will only focus on the first four games, but we'll probably branch out a bit more (at least covering Majora's Mask).
January 29th, 2010
Lots of updates to the Music section today ... the cupboard is no longer bare, so to speak. I'll catch you next week, Zelda fans!
January 28th, 2010
Whew! Between increased responsibility at work (not the good kind, the bad kind) and end of the year/beginning of the year stuff, I haven't had time to work on any content for the site. I've been doing a lot of behind the scenes stuff though (you'll notice the Letters page has been standardized and various other things) so that I can move forward with some more exciting projects for the site.
Before I tackle those, though, I'd really like to build up the music section a bit. That's where I'll be focusing for the next couple weeks, and we'll branch out from there ...
Keep sending in your letters though (using this handy contact link) and I'll pull together another Letters edition soon. Another old staff member will return to shoot the breeze with us!
January 22nd, 2010
If you notice some weird links or strange behavior on the site, pay no attention and no that it'll be fixed shortly. I'm working on some of the new features and "prizes" for the IZC Interactive/Hyrule game.
Also, please don't fiddle with the login feature just yet!
January 15th, 2010
Didn't want to go a whole week without adding anything of substance, so new edition of Letters today. With special guest Sheikah, IZC staff member from the good old days. Give it a read!
January 12th, 2010
You're going to have to bear with me (but not get bare with me). I have limited time, and I've got to spend it reformatting in filling in blanks on the sections I already have online. Truth be told there's really only a scant amount of reformatting that has to be done, and it's in the Letters sections, but it's time-consuming. Having it completed will allow me to do all kinds of fun things and allow IZC be the site that so many different people want it to be.
I've got my eye on finishing a bunch of old projects that I never got the chance to do. I need to lay a lot of groundwork first though ... so while I'll still technically be updating the site all week, I'll refrain from posting anything on the main page here unless something important develops. I'll check in later ... 'till then, there's plenty to see and do on the site already!

More cleanup today ...
January 8th, 2010
In addition to some much-needed general cleanup around the site, I've added a really bare-bones version of the Music page. Much, much more to come in the next few months.
January 7th, 2010
About 25 more Editorials restored ... we've got over 150 in there now I think.
I'm still taking editorials, and I still plan on posting some. If you're a budding writer, get with me over at the Contact page.
January 6th, 2010
I hope you like to read ... I mean REALLY like to read ... because I've got oh, about 120 restored Editorials for you. The good, the bad, and the ugly ... some making promises of epic proportions and some just list the top ten things about such-and-such, the editorials page is sure to thrill and delight Zelda fans of all ages.
Guess what? I'm still taking editorials, and I still plan on posting some. If that tickles your fancy, get with me over at the Contact page.

I know this is boring for some of you, but 40 or so more Letters editions have been restored today. Most of these have been "lost" for years, so thanks to a friend I was able to track them down and reformat them for your viewing pleasure..
Some of them are quite groan-worthy, but just keep in mind the dates they were compiled, and some of the difficulties life throws at us that can make us somewhat irritable toward visitors sometimes =)
Enjoy ...
